Terms and Conditions

Bookings

Bookings are provisionally held on request. Until a booking is confirmed Company reserves the right to release the booking to another party.

Once a session has been confirmed in writing (over email or via a booking form) Company may invoice you for the booking fee (in full) for any cancellations. Charges may be waived at the discretion of the studio manager only.

Studio use

A full studio day includes 8 hours, and a half day includes 4 hours. Setup, recording, breaks and file delivery must take place within your booked session.

Overtime is charged at the following hourly rates, excluding VAT:

• Studio: NOK 1,250
• Engineer: NOK 500

Where both the studio and engineer are required, both charges apply.

We will prepare for your session in advance where possible. Any remaining setup time forms part of your booked session.

Delivery

Please allow time within your booked studio session to prepare, export and transfer your files. Delivery requirements vary by project, so confirm your preferred file formats and delivery method in advance. All file preparation and transfers must be completed within your allocated studio time.

Credit

Please ensure all recording staff are credited on releases where appropriate. Email for details if required.

Company may mention or feature your artists (or their releases worked on at Luft Studios) on Company site or socials. Please let us know in your reply to this confirmation if you do not wish to be mentioned.

Files

Files will be released once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Luft Studios will retain session files for six months after the session is completed. After this period, files may be permanently deleted without further notice. You are responsible for obtaining your files and keeping your own backups.

Payments

Payment is due in full before the session begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Luft Studios will issue an invoice.

All prices exclude VAT. Where applicable, VAT will be added at 25%.

Limitation of liability

Company will not be liable for injury, loss or damage to equipment or premises that is caused by you or any of your personnel, nor for any loss or damage to your own equipment. Company will not be liable for any equipment left on the premises after session completion.
